The Retro Retreat in King’s Lynn co-organised and fully funded the first Spalding Comicon in 2024. In 2025, Director Jason Lee and his team took full charge—funding and managing every aspect of the event, from car park marshalling to front desk reception.
The Comicon continues to thrive thanks to the incredible support of Jason’s friends, family, and a dedicated team of volunteers—all committed to making sure every visitor enjoys a truly fantastic day out.

Are you available on 22nd August 2026 at the Springfields Events Centre?
All volunteers are also asked to attend a 2–4 hour online training session during the week leading up to the event.
To take part, you must be at least 18 years old by 22nd August 2026.
