Spalding Comicon is a joint venture between the organisers of Sutton Bridge Comicon and The Retro Retreat in Kings Lynn
This is the second comic con, with the first being Sutton Bridge 2023.
Organisers Adam and Mel Landy have a wealth of experience with comic cons near and far having hosted and traded on the national circuit. They have good business relationships with traders. Mel is on first name terms with quite a few guests and has already people lined up for 2024.
Adam and Mel also organised the 2023 Sutton Bridge Comicon which was a huge success with 900 attendees on the day. 500 of which bought tickets on the day.
The Retro Retreat is a specialist retail store in the heart of Kings Lynn. They are open 362 days a year and specialist in Pokemon, Comics, Card Grading, Stranger Things Merc, Horror, Funko pops and retro to modern games and tech.
The team at the store have a combined experience of over 80 years of gaming, Pokemon and tech.
The shop has ave also hosted large events and competitions including Fifa and Mario Kart gaming competition on a cinema screen.
Director Jason Lee said “We cannot wait for Spalding Comicon 2024. We have been working with Adam and Mel for quite some time and have been reaching out to VIP guests and traders across the UK. We will be promoting this event to all our customers who come from all over the country to our store.”
