WE CANNOT GUARANTEE entry if you choose to pay on the day. We need to ensure we do not exceed the capacity of the venue.
We strongly advise that you buy your tickets online as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
YES – You will be issued a wristband on your first entry. You must ensure you are wearing this wristband. Failure to present a wristband when asked by an organiser or marshal will result in entry being declined, or removal from one of the venues.
NO – We have a no refund policy
You will need some identification – we will then verify on our systems and allow access if we can confirm your ticket

Attendees must respect common-sense rules for public behavior, personal interaction, common courtesy, and respect for private property. Harassing or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. Spalding Comicon reserves the right to revoke, without refund, the entry of any attendee not in compliance with this policy (this applies to everyone at the event).
Persons finding themselves in a situation where they feel their safety is at risk, or who become aware of an attendee not in compliance with this policy, should immediately locate the nearest organiser or marshal, so that the matter can be handled in an expeditious manner.
There is absolutely no running in any or at anytime at the event.
There is absolutely no sitting in hallways, gangways or access/egress routes permitted. There are sitting areas in the canteen and throughout the event.
NO – Smoking, Vaping and Alcohol are not permitted within the venue
Any persons reported to be stealing from our traders, guests or persons attending the convention will be immediately removed from the event and immediately reported to the police.
ABSOLUTELY – We welcome all cosplayers young and old however you must abide by these rules for safety and decency:
- No functional props or weapons are allowed at our event. Any weaponry or sharp points or edges will need to be stored at a location away from the event.
- No scooters, bikes or other ridable equipment is permitted into the venues on the day. This does not apply to people with mobility aids etc.
- Cosplays must meet the standards required of public decency. We politely ask that no body-paint only cosplays are showcased at our event.
- It is highly likely that people will ask you for a selfie if you are in cosplay. Please set out your terms clearly regarding issues such as touching, or areas of your costume that are at risk of breakages etc.
NO. Only assistance dogs are allowed.
Yes but it cannot be used – Anyone using a speaker/s will be removed from the event without a refund
YES – The entire venue is at ground floor level and we have designed the floor plans with wheelchairs and mobility scooters in mind.
We have free parking for up to 700 cars. Marshall’s will be on hand to manage the car park but please allow 20 minutes to get parked up and into the event.
Parking is only free when proof of ticket is provided. If you are paying on the door, a £1 refunded parking fee will be required,
Parking whilst attending the event is done entirely at the owner’s risk. Spalding Comicon takes no responsibility or accountability for your vehicles or its contents.
A canteen is at the venue with seating for at least 50 people. The canteen is next door to the main arena serving hot food and drinks all day long.
If you prefer a stroll, Springfields outlet shopping is just a 5 min walk with plenty of food and drink options.
You can also bring food with you as long as you clear up after yourself.
There are at least 2 cash machines in the neighbouring Springfields Outlet shops,
NO – Free WiFi is not available
Yes there are toilets at the event in the corridor leading up to the main arena
No – flash photography is not allowed, to protect persons with health concerns such as light sensitive epilepsy etc.
YES – The event organisers will be taking photos, videos both in and outside the event and from the sky.
This material is predominately used for promotional reasons but also for crime prevention and traffic management,
In the event of an emergency, please exit by the nearest fire exit and wait in the far top of the car park.
Please follow the instructions of any marshal or organiser when instructed to do so.
If you witness an emergency, please notify a marshall as soon as possible.

Can I take photos/videos or stream to social media
With exception to the guests area – you can take as many photos/videos or stream as much as you like.
If you are caught taking photos/videos of guests without their permission you maybe removed from the event without refund.
